NIGHTSEARCHER-WORKING-WITH-SKY-ONE-TV-SHOW-CRITICAL

NightSearcher have been working with Sky One to make a realistic emergency services television set for the TV show Critical. The battery powered eco-friendly floodlights are used by emergency services worldwide as an alternative to generator lighting, the products will be featured on the show in dramatic emergency situations. Sky One approached NightSearcher to use the battery powered floodlight products in the TV show as they wanted to have a realistic dramatic scenes in the emergency service based drama.

The shows producers wanted the drama to use real life props and wanted to use Nightsearcher lighting products as they are used around the world by Police, Fire and Ambulance services. Colin Howard (Managing Director of NightSearcher) explains ‘we were impressed by Sky One’s attention to detail, and it would be good to see real life products used in the TV show’. NightSearcher’s Solaris range of products are of particular use for the emergency services, as the floodlights are bright (up to 28,000 lumens), easy to setup and robust.

Nightsearcher are exhibiting at the Emergency Service Show at Interschutz in Germany, which happens every five years (a quinquennium show). Sales Director Richard Fuller, explains ‘he is excited about the show as it is where you see future innovations before they hit the market and collaborations in the emergency service sector happen’.

 

The TV show Critical is available on Sky One, and heads up an ensemble cast and stars Lennie James (Snatch), (Walking Dead). Each episode takes place in a real-time it is a medical and emotional show in which every second counts during the most life-threatening hour of a patient’s treatment.
